Comic Con 2013: Come See Us There!

San Diego Comic Con 2013 is upon us! I’ll be at the convention, every
single day, and if any of you lunatics are going to be there, too, I’d love to
meet you in the flesh! If you see me on the convention floor, don’t hesitate to
say “Yo!” and throw a hand up for me to high five.

Or, if you’d like to go
about this a little more efficiently, you can drop by any of my signings…

In addition to the copies
of HYBRID BASTARDS! I’ll be signing
at the new Boom/Archaia booth (#2229),
I’ll also be putting my signature on oodles of goodies for MAX
STEEL at the VIZ Media booth (#2819). Yep, you read that right. As I mentioned
on a recent episode of THE VICE PIT, I’m writing the official comics version of
the new Disney XD toon for VIZ Kids. The book isn’t coming out until early 2014
but, don’t worry - - they hype train will be rolling straight through to then!

While I’m at Boom/Archaia’s
booth, I’ll also be joining my creative comrades, Chris Northrop and Jeff
Stokely, for some signings of their new graphic novel THE REASON FOR DRAGONS (as I contributed a most medieval back-up
story to the book). I’ve also got at
least one signing with funnyman Dan Fogler, since I’m working on spooky short
for the next installment of his whacked-out comedy hororr anthology, MOON LAKE.

Anybody wondering, “Hey, where’s
Sam in all of this?” can breath easy. The dude’s going to be at the con for
most of its duration, and if you ever find me on the floor, you can be sure Sam isn't be too far away. We’re actually going to be taping some special VICE PIT episodes while we’re at the
con, so stay tuned!

Also, don’t worry about content
on the site. Sam and I both burned the night oils this past weekend, working
ahead enough to make sure that the AV stream goes uninterrupted.
